Jean- Jacques Lebel has retired and Marc Menesguen has been ap- pointed President Consumer Products Division. Three new zones have been created: the Americas headed by Frédéric Rozé, Eastern Europe headed by Alexandre Popoff, and Western Europe headed by Jochen Za- umseil. Alexis Perakis-Valat has been appointed Executive Vice- President Asia-Pacific Zone. L’Oréal Germany I Nathalie Roos (47) is now head of L’Oréal Germany and successor to Jérôme Bruhat (45), who has tak- en over global management of the Maybelline New York – Jade brand. L’Oréal Paris, Germany I Anna Sophie Weste (31) now takes on responsibility for L’Oréal Paris, the highest turnover brand of the L’Oréal group in Germany. She takes over from Yvonne Rostock (40). Neo Cos I Heiko Patzer is now the development manager at Neo Cos Service. After 10 years at Symrise (formerly Dragoco) including posts in product development, perfumery and cosmetics, he worked for 10 years at Logocos developing certified natural cosmetics with a focus on colour cosmetics. Nobilis Fragrances I Mar- tin Sekinger, (44) formerly Sales Director at Christian Dior Par- fums, is responsible, as sales di- rector of the perfume and beauty business, for Nobilis Fragrances. Andrea Böttger (49) formerly Marketing Director for Alessan- dro, takes on, as Marketing Manager the brand portfolio of the Perfume Holding as well as the Italian label Collistar and certain other of the Nobilis premium labels. Procter & Gamble I Isabel Hochgesand (43) has been ap- pointed head of Supply Chain Management in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Procter & Gamble Ger- many I Stefan Schamberg (55) has been appointed to the super- visory board P&G Germany as head of R&D. The company employs about 1,000 researchers and develop- ment workers in Germany, and about 9,000 worldwide. P&G is investing this year alone about 90 million Euros in a new re- search centre at Schwalbach and in certain other locations. Dirk Heinzl (45) as successor to Berthold Figgen (55) takes on marketing in the German, Swiss and Austrian regions at Procter & Gamble. Vantage Specialty Chemicals I Mike Lotito has been promoted North America Sales Director of Lipo Chemicals, the personal care unit of Vantage Specialty Chemicals. Selmo Araujo is now Managing Director of Latin America for Vantage Specialty Chemicals. L’Oréal’s newly created Scientific Advisory Board is composed of 9 sci- entists from diverse disciplines and of various nationalities. Their target is to bring unexpected ideas pertaining to L’Oréal Research’s fields of interests.
