L ancôme collaborated with ac- tress Emma Watson to create the In Love collection for Spring 2013. Available as part of the collection is the soothing spray Dewy Mist, a 100% natural spray with essential oils and antioxidants claimed to reduce the appearance of pores while brightening, moisturising and revitalising the com- plexion. It can be used before make-up application to prepare skin by refining pores, after make-up to provide a natu- ral dewy finish, and during the day to refresh make-up. Its medical essential oil scent is designed to boost the user’s skin and mood. The 100% natural product Benecos Natural Multi-Effect Mascara with the BDIH logo is formulated with herbal extracts, jojoba oil and vitamin E, and is claimed to provide volume, length and curls for lashes. Also available as part of the range are Natural Mascara Super Long Lashes and Natural Mas- cara Maximum Volume. The makers of these products use natural raw materi- als and aromatic materials from con- trolled organic cultivation or con- trolled biological wild collection. Environmentally-friendly production methods are being used along with re- newable and biodegradable materials, and minimal packaging. Vapour Organic Beauty Elixir Plump- ing Lip Gloss is designed to offer vol- ume, colour, and shine to lips, and to moisturize the lips with antioxidants. Formulated with biodegradable ingre- dients the 100% natural product, made using wind power, contains botanicals such as hydrating myrrh, healing lemon balm, antioxidant green tea, an- ti-microbial Iceland moss, and natural plumping liposomes. The outer pack- aging is made from a recycled fibre and from managed forestry sources. It is printed with soy ink. Couleur Caramel is an organic skin care and make-up range utilising fair trade ingredients and formulations certified by Ecocert and One Voice. They are free of rosin, formalin, miner- al oil, paraben, phenoxyethanol, and toluene. Available as part of the range is the lipstick Lápiz Labial enriched with shea butter, jojoba oil, olive wax, algal silica and apricot wax. This long-lasting product is said to protect the lips. Green People Eye Duo, a certified organic mineral eye-shadow, contains mica, a natural mineral substance found in rocks, stones and sands and which is used for its gliding properties; octyldodecanol, a plant-derived emol- lient acting as a lubricant for a silky feel; emollient jojoba; and vitamin E, with strong antioxidant and anti-age- ing properties. The talc-free product is suitable for sensitive eyes and is re- tailed in a stylish compact with mirror and applicator made also from recycla- ble materials. The brand donates 10% of net profits from these products to charity. The entirely natural Kiss Bèauty Ka- jal Eye Shadow with waterproof proper- ties contains vegetable oils, beeswax and coal. The product, claimed to give depth and brightness to the eyes, is available in the shades Green, Dark Green, Blue, White, Black, and Dark Blue.
