News New full-body self-adhesive ­labelling option for cans Avery Dennison | The new AeroDress can labelling technology is designed for low-volume production runs and allows both late-stage ­differentiation and – because of the label’s opacity – the relabelling of obsolete printed cans. Suitable for both aluminium and tinplate cans, the self-adhesive labelling solution is compatible with a wide range of printing tech- niques including letterpress, flexo, gravure, silk screen and foils. A newly-designed white filmic facestock shrinks to fit curves at the ends of a can. This technology can be implemented involving the addition of hot air equipment, used to shrink the label and dress the can. www.averydennison.com. A new option for can labelling for low-volume production Glass bottles for nail polish, skin care and fragrances Baralan | The oval shape of the Ulli line, refined and at the same time modern, provides a harmonious line for nail polish, skin care and fragrances. For nail polish, there are bottles with three ­different capacities, possible to be combined with the Alster over- cap. The three skin care bottles with neck 24 can be used with cream pumps or the Alster overpump. The three fragrance bottles with a crimp neck 15 are available with spray pumps and the Alster overcrimp. The heavier fragrance bottles and the eight ml nail polish bottles have a thicker distribution of glass on the bot- tom, giving them a more precious-looking appearance. www.baralan.com Continuous skin care spray Aptar | Mist’erious is a new spray dedi- cated to facial skin care. Combining sen- sory and efficiency, it creates a new spray application, exuding finesse for a luxurious sensation. Its smooth and adjustable actua- tion provides dosage control to produce a fine, practically imperceptible mist that is quickly absorbed for near-instant moisturi- sation. This long and continuous spray (up to three times longer than a traditional insert) produces an ethereal cloud, leaving skin feeling soft and fresh. The tear- drop-shaped liquid soap bottle is subtly decorated with spring-like flowers, leaves and butterflies. The matt white shrink-sleeve pro- vides a pleasant velvety feel to the touch. In contrast, the children’s series uses high-gloss, presenting the world of the little frog in bright colours with intricate details. Gizeh PET produces the bot- tles for both series of PET.
