With a comparably high spreadability the hydrocarbon, based on renewable resources, pro- vides as good as, if not better, performance than Cyclomethicon. Based on its high level of volatility it leaves a fresh, dry skin feel and so meets the trend for light formulations. Hence elegant textures can be created for natural cosmetics with improved sensory properties.
