For those of you involved in both ingredients and packaging, this October is event-wise a bit more relaxed than other Octobers. After all, Luxe Pack Monaco, which usually takes place at the end of October, moved its dates to the end of September this year. From what we’ve heard, Luxe Pack Monaco 2017 will be held from October 2–4. For the Ger- man exhibitors and visitors, this is not the most convenient date; as the 3rd of October is a national holiday, an extended bridge weekend could easily be planned. What has not changed this year are the dates of SEPAWA. The 63rd edition of the show takes place in Fulda at the Esperanto Hotel from October 12–14. However, it will be a farewell both to the location and also to Fulda. In 2017, the Sepawa congress will be moving to Berlin and will take place from October 18–20. The good thing is that there will be more space for exhibitors – in fact, 45% more. However, for those looking forward to not only visiting the event but also to getting to know Germany’s bustling capital, the drawback is that the event’s location, the Estrel Hotel & Conference Centre, is not exactly central.
